"Not a typical day at the office."

May 26 - Jun 11, 2023
(Preview May 25, 2023)

Gloria is a dramatic comedy that examines the lives of working Americans and the dynamics in the workplace. It follows an ambitious group of editorial assistants at a Manhattan magazine, each hoping for a life of letters and book deals. The game changes when a seemingly humdrum day at the office becomes anything but.

"Gloria" is presented by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc., New York.

GLORIA was produced by the Vineyard Theatre (Douglas Aibel, Artistic Director; Jennifer Garvey-Blackwell, Executive Producer) New York, Spring 2015

this production contains
flashing lights - gunshots - scenes of violence

from the director
when considering the blinding forces of ambition, all patterns of office politics will repeat themselves.
This sets everyone up to go through various
tragedies repeatedly.
Gloria is set in a satirical and absurdist
circuitous universe, where lessons tend
never to be learned.
